Had just picked up my 8wk old black kitten at Woodbridge Regional Animal Shelter [5 stars, too!], & the staff at Elm City, was so helpful & nice to see him 2 hrs before his scheduled appt -- I'm very grateful. They are so friendly & professional, too!

A new and outstanding clinic! Friendly, welcoming and so accommodating! Dr Chant is incredibly compassionate, she listens with great care. We felt heard and understood. Best of all, they showed genuine love for my doggos! So pleased to find a new pet health home!

We recently took our two cats to Elm City Vet, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The entire team was friendly, welcoming, and made our cats (and us!) feel at ease right away. The vet was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated. It’s always nerve-wracking trying a new place, but this team was amazing — gentle, professional, and genuinely caring. So glad to have found such a great vet in town!

Walked pass this place last year and thinking if I get a dog one day, I’ll bring her back to here - here she is! Staffs here are all so nice and friendly and effective! My dog’s very nervous but she treated her so nice with patience. I trust my dog’s gonna be taken good care of here.

We had a wonderful experience with this vet office. Everyone was incredibly kind, and the assistants in particular were such positive, warm individuals. They went out of their way to squeeze us in before closing and took the time to thoroughly explain everything, making sure we understood all the next steps for care. We never felt rushed, and their compassion really put us at ease. We’re very grateful and would absolutely recommend them.

I took my dog here today and we had a great experience! Everyone was very friendly and professional. He was treated with great care and love, and we also got a cute bandana and stickers to take home. We will definitely come back!!

My Yorkie, Bonnie, became very ill after eating something she shouldn’t have. She developed severe vomiting and diarrhea and began to spiral quickly. With nearby clinics in Milford about to close, Elm City Vet agreed to see her immediately and began treatment without delay. I want to emphasize how kind, attentive, and professional the entire staff was. Dr. Vail, along with Tina and Kayla, treated Bonnie with genuine warmth and compassion; the way you would hope someone would care for a member of your family. By the time we returned home, Bonnie was already back to her happy, energetic self. Dr. Vail took the time to explain multiple treatment options and allowed us to make an informed decision, which I deeply appreciated. It was clear that the focus was on Bonnie’s well-being, not on pushing unnecessary services. The care felt thoughtful, measured, and sincere. I am extremely grateful to Elm City Vet for stepping in during a stressful moment and providing such exceptional care. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a veterinary team that combines medical expertise with genuine compassion.

I am a new patient of Elm City Vet and my kitties have not been seen yet we have been met with the upmost respect and care. Erik has been such a beacon of light in this experience. I feel that each interaction is courtesy. Before adopting our latest additions Koi Cairo & Calcifer to our fur family. We have two older cats Brooklyn & Phoenix whom we’ve had for seven years now. However there’s a lot that is still new to me as a pet parent and I feel that Erik took the time to empower me and educate us on what is optimal for their care. I just feel more confident about how to support my fur babies.
